Hayley is a Master of Social Work Student at Carleton University. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work at Trent University and has several years of experience working with children, families, and young adults to overcome a wide range of struggles.
She is experienced in working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety and depression. She also has experience working with individuals who are struggling with relationships, communication, anger management, grief, and trauma.
Hayley works from a strengths-based, trauma informed, and empathy centered mindset. Her focus is on helping her clients build their already existing coping skills in order to move through life with more ease and less stress and worry.
Hayley also has experience with Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Emotion Coaching.
Hayley understands the complex issues young adults face today in a world full of uncertainty. Her goal is to walk alongside clients as they navigate their world, as a team, instead of going into the unknown alone.
