Angela Wang (She/Her) is a Clinical Social Worker who completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Master’s of Social Work degree from University of Toronto, specializing in Mental Health.

She is experienced in working with adolescent, young adult, and adult populations who are navigating through anxiety, depression, identity, interpersonal relationships, life transitions, perfectionism, and trauma. Angela strongly believes that each individual has the capability for recovery and wellness.

As a therapist, Angela’s role is to provide a space to reflect and process complex thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that may create conflict in everyday life. Her approach is warm and welcoming, and engages in working together to make sense of these challenges.

She is an ally to persons of colour, 2SLGBTQ+ populations, persons with various dis/abilities, and persons who have experienced systemic oppression. Angela practices from a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens to support and empower.

Angela utilizes an integrative approach including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy to make sense of your stories and to challenge patterns that no longer work for you. She draws from mindfulness practice and self-compassion to work through self-criticism and interpersonal issues. Wherever you find yourself, Angela will support you in working toward your goals.
